Dill Pickle Juice – for the maximum tang.
Spicier – Add a dash of hot sauce or a tsp of horseradish. You can also use a spicy pickled bean.
Batch – To make a big pitcher, create the base mix (without Clamato) and store in the fridge. Just add Clamato and garnish when ready!
FAQ
Can I use vodka instead of gin? Absolutely! Vodka is the classic base, but gin adds herbal notes.
Is Clamato the same as tomato juice? NOPE. Clamato is seasoned tomato-clam juice. It is essential for an authentic Caesar.
Can I make it vegetarian? Technically No – if you sub tomato juice for the Clamato juice you now have a Bloody Mary. But probably still yummy.
