The Dolly Cocktail is a sparkling, raspberry lemonade-inspired drink with just the right amount of flair and fizz. We served it with a mini clothespin we got from Amazon and a card that read:

” Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene…. please don’t take my drink”

• raspberries

Bar/Pantry

• raspberry vodka
• soda water /club soda
• ice
• simple syrup or raspberry syrup
• raspberry liqueur ( like Chambord)

Expert Tips and Tricks

Swap: If you don’t have raspberry vodka, use plain vodka and muddle a few fresh raspberries if you want a fresher, brighter version

Party Version: Make ahead and pre-batch everything except the soda water. Add that right before serving to keep the bubbles lively.

Extra Dolly: Add edible glitter or serve in a glass with rhinestone decals.

Can I make this non-alcoholic? Yes! Use a raspberry lemonade or a pink lemonade, add the raspberry syrup if you’re up for a sweet treat. Add the splash of soda and skip the spirits. It will still be fabulous

Ingredients

Raspberry Syrup

• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup water
• 3/4 cup fresh or frozen raspberries

Cocktail

• 1.5 oz raspberry vodka
• 3/4 oz raspberry syrup or simple syrup
• 1 oz fresh lemon juice
• 1/2 oz raspberry liqueur like Chambord
• 2 oz soda water or club soda
• ice
• lemon wheel or fresh raspberries for garnish
• mini clothespin and small printed “Jolene” lyric card

Instructions

Raspberry Syrup

• If you decided you’d like to make this drink even more sassy try making your own raspberry syrup. Mix 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water and 3/4 fresh raspberries in a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved, 5 minutes. remove from heat. Strain through a fine mesh strainer and discard solids. Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Mix Your Cocktail

• Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add raspberry vodka, syrup, lemon juice, and raspberry liqueur. Shake until chilled.
• Strain into a glass filled with ice.
• Top with soda water or club soda.

Garnish

• Add some fresh raspberries to the glass, maybe even a spritz of edible glitter.
• Attach your “Jolene” car with a mini clothespin for that perfect Instagram moment.
