Ingredients
Raspberry Syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
Cocktail
- 1.5 oz raspberry vodka
- 3/4 oz raspberry syrup or simple syrup
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz raspberry liqueur like Chambord
- 2 oz soda water or club soda
- ice
- lemon wheel or fresh raspberries for garnish
- mini clothespin and small printed "Jolene" lyric card
Instructions
Raspberry Syrup
- If you decided you'd like to make this drink even more sassy try making your own raspberry syrup. Mix 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water and 3/4 fresh raspberries in a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved, 5 minutes. remove from heat. Strain through a fine mesh strainer and discard solids. Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Mix Your Cocktail
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add raspberry vodka, syrup, lemon juice, and raspberry liqueur. Shake until chilled.
- Strain into a glass filled with ice.
- Top with soda water or club soda.
Garnish
- Add some fresh raspberries to the glass, maybe even a spritz of edible glitter.
- Attach your "Jolene" car with a mini clothespin for that perfect Instagram moment.
