Thanksgiving and a Crispy Autumn evening deserve a good toast with this easy, yummy cocktail. The Spiced Cranberry Orange Margarita is dressed up with fall flavours.
In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, water, and cinnamon stick.
Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes until cranberries have burst or raspberries have broken down. Liquid should have thicken slightly.
Strain through a fine mesh sieve, discarding solids.
Let cool before using in margaritas. Keeps in fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Mix the Cocktail
In a large pitcher, combine the tequila, Cointreau, cranberry juice, orange juice, and syrup. Stir or shake until chilled and blended.
Prepare Glasses
Rim glasses with cinnamon sugar. Fill with ice.
Pour and Garnish
Divide the margarita into 4 glasses. Garnish each with a cinnamon stick, slice of orange and a few frozen cranberries.
