- 1 cup fresh strawberries chopped
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp honey
- pinch of salt
- pinch of chili flakes optional, for heat
- 1 8 oz wheel of Brie
- 2 Tbsp shaved almonds
- 1 cedar plank
Make The Strawberry Glaze
In a small saucepan, combine strawberries, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, honey, salt, and chili flakes (if using).
Simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes until thickened and glossy.
Remove from heat and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavours to meld.
Grill the Brie
Place the Brie on the soaked cedar plank.
Spoon strawberry balsamic glaze over the top.
Sprinkle with shave almonds.
Place plank on the grill. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes, until Brie is gooey and bubbling.
