3D Tote Bag with Fun Vibes: Ladies Craft Night

There’s never a need to gather your girlfriends together but a creative night in seems to give us the push we need to lean into a cozy evening of DYI. This time make something you can use but that is still stylish. Custom 3D embroidered tote bags are fun as everyone comes up with their own crazy title and yet will look profesionally made.

The Craft How To: 3D Word Tote Bags

Here’s the easy and chic craft you can tackle together:

  1. Start with blank totes – order a pack from Temu or Amazon (canvas works best).
  2. Choose your words – print or stencil them onto our bag. Think short, bold sayings
    • Girls Night
    • This Bag Has Crazy Stuff in It
    • Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice
    • Initials or momograms
    • Zero Regrets Extra Fries
    • Champgane Made me Do It
    • More Expreso], Less Depresso
    • Too Sassy to Share Snacks
    • Fueled by icied coffee and chao
    • Snack accident waiitng to happen
    • Doing my Best; Kinda; Maybea
    • Cute but a Little Psycho
  3. Trace with a glue gun – outline your stencil with hot glue gun to create a rasied guide
  4. Stitch embroidery thread – go right over the glue with colorful embroidery thread. The glue acts as your 3D foundation and help your stitches pop.
  5. Personalize – add charms, tassels, or even little painted details if you like.

Setting the Scene: Decor and Vibe

Make it feel like a chick craft stufio meets crazy cozy girls night.

Table Setup: Cover the table with draft paper (easy clean up). Place embroidery threads in pretty bowls across the table intermixed with vases of white hydrangeas.

Stations: Set up a station for each of your guests. You’ll Need:

  • glue guns
  • napkins
  • stencils
  • embroidery needles

Mood: Light some fall candles around the room or at your Food station, and string fairy lights around them.

The Menu

Appetizers

Your guests are going to want to get right at it so I would suggest a seasonal grazing board: cheeses, dried fruits, crackers and nuts. Place it at your Drink Station so you don’t have to worry about getting your tote bags dirty with any excited cheese eaters,

Main Dishes (Serve Family Style)

Fall Harvest Salad – greens, roasted squash, goat cheese, pepitas and a maple vinaigrette.

A Big Pot of Decadent Sloppy Joes – slow roasted beef with sweet and tangy flavours. Served with a horseradish creme fraiche. Find the recipe here.

Yorkshire Puddings – instead of serving the Sloppy Joe over a traditional bun we scooped luscious spoonful’s of it over Yorkshire Puddings.

Peach Handpies

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Pumpkin Cheesecake Bar

Signature Cocktails

Cranberry Rosemary Spritz: Cranberry juice, prosecco and a rosemary garnish

Spiked Caramel Apple Cider: Warm apple cider, splash of bourbon or rum, cinnamon stick stirrer
